Idioms Using 'Take'.

As we've seen before 'take' is a high frequency verb (it is used a lot). I have done some things with take when it is used in a phrasal verb take +  a particle, or an adverb or both: take up, take on, take in etc.

Take is also used in a collocation combined with nouns: take a rest, take a chance, take a taxi etc.
